Week 2 take home:
- snow peas
- mixed summer squash
- napa cabbage
I have a healthy obsession with summer squash and zucchini, and I have to say this week’s take home was enjoyable. Not sure what to do with the funny little squashes, but we cut one up and it resembles the yellow summer squash. So, to the grill it goes! The cabbage got sliced up for coleslaw and is sitting in the fridge waiting for Dad to devour it. Herbs from this week and last made their way into spaghetti sauce, which I’m dying to try.
Week 3 we’re hoping to add beets to the list. Seth’s got some jealousy issues when the full share folks get more fun things than we do ..
