MOOV 2009

A busy day for the Lehigh University Class of 2014 and also, one of my favorite days to work at a university. Faculty, staff and current students volunteer their time to help move in the freshmen on what we refer to as MOOV-in (Made Of Our Volunteers) day.

While a significant percentage are already on campus as athletes or participants in preLUsion programs, there are still a heck of a lot of kids to move in. Even though this day officially marks the end of summer at our institution, I still look forward to it. Of course this may be because it’s the only time I get to wear an electric orange traffic vest and carry a walkie talkie.

When all is said and done, we welcome 1,216 new students this fall to Lehigh University.

Best of luck to the Class of 2014!
